iStaging Corp. has joined forces with real estate agencies to introduce a virtual house-viewing service in order to increase the general public’s willingness to view houses via an innovative service that has been officially launched in Taiwan. This service also solves the problem of having to be physically present to view houses, as well as the problem of not being able to view multiple properties within a short period of time. Potential buyers can instantly combine a non-furnished house with interior design graphics, and replace existing furniture with the one they like, all through the immersive reality of the app.
In response to the government’s “Industrial Upgrade and Transformation” policy, the Institute for Information Industry has proactively integrated different types of industries and guided iStaging Corp. to successfully gain approval for the 4G mobile broadband network smart city subsidy program by the Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA, thus assisting in the integration of industrial systems to develop an immersive reality platform as the benchmark for domestic applications.
iStaging Corp. established the “Ideal Home Smart City” service at the Taiwan Air Force (TAF) Innovation Base under the guidance of the Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA. The general public can replace furniture in the interior home space of the site using their mobile phones and tablets, as well as obtain a 360-degree view of the virtual interior design through the virtual house viewing glasses.
iStaging Corp. won the Intel first prize at the 2015 APEC Global Challenge. In the same year, the company also won the gold award in the ECI Awards by International E-Commerce Innovation Association (IECIA) with its outstanding performance. The virtual house-viewing service by iStaging Corp. has established a solid base domestically. Internationally, iStaging Corp. has also collaborated with construction companies for real estate in Japan, Malaysia, and Cambodia, introducing the service internationally.
The MOEA Industrial Upgrade and Transformation Service Team for Emerging Industries actively promotes smart network broadband applications. iStaging Corp. utilized the core technology of the “broad angle augmented reality” to launch the virtual house-viewing program, which subsequently led to the development of related industries. This demonstrates the assistance of governmental policies in the upgrade and transition of industries. In the future, the team will continue to guide emerging industries in other fields to create greater value for the industries.
