Wanin International Co., Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony in Taichung Software Park (TSP) at 10:00 AM on January 13, 2016. Wanin International Co., Ltd. invested NT$ 1 billion on this construction project, which is expected to finish in the end of 2017 and then start operation. Wanin International Co., Ltd. will create 615 job opportunities, and the figure of its annual production value will amount to NT$ 300 million. In the mean time, construction projects of four lease-land companies including Data Systems Consulting Co., Ltd., Yesoon Development Construction Co., Ltd., Bigbuyer Development Co., Ltd. all have been started. For the purpose of improving soft powers in Taiwan, TSP will act as an important promoter of information software and cultural and creative industries in the near future.
Xiao Zheng-Hao, Chairman of Wanin International Co., Ltd., hosted the groundbreaking ceremony. And Liang You-Wen, Director of the Chungkang branch of Export Processing Zone Administration (EPZA), and other guests were invited to attend the ceremony. They prayed for good luck for the start and hoped the construction project will go well. Wanin International Co., Ltd. invested NT$ 1 billion for its construction project. The building coverage land area and the total floor area of its new building in ten stories and two-story basements are in total 5,392 square meters and 17,800 square meters respectively.
According to the EPZA, Wanin International Co., Ltd. is a well-known on-line game software developer in Taiwan, and it has extensive business experiences and outstanding capabilities to do research and development. The EPZA continued that the enter of Wanin International Co., Ltd. will be expected to create industrial clustering effects, stimulate software design industries in central Taiwan to promote development capabilities, and train talents of software related industries. In the mean time, the EPZA will integrate universities in central Taiwan to promote the Academia-Industry cooperation, provide rich consulting resources, and train high-quality talents.
In addition, the EPZA expected more software and cultural creation industries will station in TSP, create TSP as the creative soft power RD base, and give thriving impetus to both creative and innovative technologies industries and metropolitan areas. In the future, TSP will act as an important promoter of information software and cultural creative and innovaitve industries, help industries further develop, and improve the soft power of Taiwan R.O.C..
