Organization: Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA        Publish Date: 2017-02-06 12:06
The Spring Festival is almost here! To help the public experience a sense of high quality aesthetics and a rich festive ambience during the long holiday, the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs invites the public to visit 172 Creative Living Spots around Taiwan. Last year (2016), the book "Style x Culture x Experience: Let Connoisseurs Show You How to Have Fun with Creative Living" was published, in which 28 creative living connoisseurs around Taiwan introduce places to visit during the Spring Festival. The public may visit the Fun Taiwan Creative Life website to learn about the creative living industry throughout Taiwan, and to experience a creative lifestyle through the Chinese New Year.
The Fun Taiwan Creative Life website offers the public recommendations for fun, Taiwanese-style itineraries with seven different creative style tours and more than 23 travel routes. These creative living spots, spread across the northern, central, southern and eastern regions of Taiwan, focus on tasting good food, taking things slow, and experiencing life thoroughly. Additionally, the book introduces the people behind the creative living industry in six experience categories, including VVG Thinking and Lavender Cottage for living and education; Schokolake and Milkfish Museum for food culture; and Mei Nung Kiln, Fushankodo and the Beigang Lifestyle Museum for craft culture. These industry operators play the roles of guides, leading the public to visit each creative living business operator to better appreciate the beauty of culture, design and physical experience.
