To create a high-quality and happy industrial park and enhance the relationship between employees and their families in the park, the Bureau of Technology Industrial Parks held the "Friendly Workplace, Sweet Happiness" Parent-Child hiking event on April 30, 2024, at Kaohsiung Metropolitan Park. Legislators Lin Dai-Hua and Lin Qian-Qi, along with around a thousand employees and their families from the park, participated in the event. It was not only a nature-sharing journey for families but also a wonderful experience promoting a healthy lifestyle and work-family balance. Each step taken reflected the pursuit of a better quality of life and the desire for a happy workplace culture.
The Bureau of Industrial Parks expressed hope that through such events, not only would the participant's family relationships be enhanced, but the culture of national sports would also be promoted. It aims to make everyone aware of the importance of exercise and its contribution to building a healthy workplace culture. The Bureau of Industrial Parks hopes that this industrial park will not only be a cradle for technology and innovation but also a vibrant, happy, and sustainable community.
The event provided participants with an opportunity to escape from daily work pressures and spend quality time with their families. It was a grand event combining health, education, and fun. Themes such as gender equality, occupational safety, and integrity were promoted in a light and enjoyable manner to educate the public on important social values.
Moreover, three supply stations set up along the hiking route not only provided various supplies for participants but also added warmth and care to the event. After the hiking, sweet supplies such as cotton candy, and cotton candy machine DIY, and egged shaped pancakes not only satisfied the participant's taste buds but also brought healing and joy to their heart. Additionally, the raffle at the end of the event surprised the employees and their families, sharing the joy of the event and making a perfect end to it.
Through the successful organization of the "Friendly Workplace, Sweet Happiness" Parent-Child hiking event, the Bureau of Industrial Parks not only demonstrated its commitment to improving employee well-being but also conveyed to the public that a healthy and happy workplace is achievable. This was not just a parent-child hiking event but also a collective effort of society to practice happiness, opening a new chapter for the harmonious integration of work and family and creating a better future together.
