Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs Cynthia Kiang met with Christine Nakamura, Vice President of Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada at the Ministry on June 17, 2026. During their meeting, the two sides exchanged views on Taiwan-Canada economic and trade relations, as well the Canadian Women-only Business Mission to Taiwan, an initiative organized by the foundation and supported by the Canadian government's Women Entrepreneurship Strategy.
