The MOEA Leads a Delegation to the U.S. and Holds the First Taiwan Expo
The first Taiwan Expo to be held in the U.S. opened on October 12 in Washington, D.C. The Expo offered a series of informative events, including the smart mobility and innovative healthcare forum, the electric vehicle (EV) trade mission, and the biotechnological healthcare cooperation mission. The industrial collaboration between the U.S. and Taiwan was worthy of expectations.

Minister of Economic Affairs Ms. Mei-Hua Wang, who led a delegation to the U.S., pointed out that the image Taiwan wanted to present through the Expo was that Taiwan is a trustworthy and indispensable partner. With U.S., European, and Japanese support of supply chains, Taiwan is able to take on a crucial role in the semiconductor industry. As such, Taiwan will continue to work on a global scale, especially with the U.S., to make global industries more prosperous.

In the opening ceremony, Minister Wang stated that Taiwan presented its best images by showcasing its innovative technology, medical advances, and economic strength during the Taiwan Expo in the Washington, D.C. The Expo also highlighted Taiwan's high-quality products, inclusive culture, and beautiful scenery to American guests. With the easing of border restrictions, all American friends are welcome to visit Taiwan and gain first-hand experience.
