To enhance the communication and connection with enterprises in the parks, and to appreciate the support of enterprises, to enhance the harmony between labor, management and government, the Technology Industrial Park had successively held the New Year banquet in Pingtung, Kaohsiung and Taichung since February. February 15, 2023 was the finale of the Kaohsiung session, the Technology Industrial Park of the Ministry of Economic Affairs "112-year Kaohsiung District New Year Labor, Management and Government banquet" was held at the Grand Hi-Lai Hotel. Representatives of both labor and management in Kaohsiung's Parks and relevant guests from all walks of life were invited to attend the banquet. Nearly 350 distinguished guests gather together and share friendship.
Yang Po-Keng, the EPZA Director-General, said that last year, the park was not afraid of adversity, and its growth performance was outstanding. The annual turnover exceeded NT$500 billion for the first time. He thanked all the manufacturers in the park and the Export Processing Zone Administration (EPZA) for growing together and dedicating to the economic development of the park. Looking forward to the new year, hope to take the opportunity to promote positive interactions with each other, and jointly create a better investment environment and a happier workplace. Manufacturers are also welcome to actively invest in the Pingtung Technology Industrial Park expansion which is promoting now and the Kaohsiung Software Park Phrase II. To make arrangements in advance for the economic recovery and seize profitable business opportunities, continue to reach new heights together.
EPZA also stated that in order to cope with the future development situation, the park will continue to focus on important tasks such as space expansion, manufacturer guidance, and low-carbon sustainability. EPZA not only actively development new parks, but also continuously strengthening space reconstruction and manufacturer guidance to enhance the competitiveness of the park, and improve the communication between labor and management in the enterprise to maintain a consensus. EPZA will fully assist manufacturers to continue making profits in the unpredictable current situation, hoping labors and managements could share the economic achievement and dive the park's operations to reach new heights.
