Organization: Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA        Publish Date: 2017-04-27 09:44
The popular “Visions Get Wild” event will kick off at Kaohsiung Exhibition Center from May 10– to 12, 2017. The press received a sneak preview of the major features and unique parts of the exhibition on April 19, which was hosted by Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA. This event is an international cooperation of 6 countries and academia-industry consortium centering the theme of visual reality. The organizers forecast the event to attract more than 80 thousand visitors.

This year‘s VGW will be different from previous years, as the main aim of this exhibition is not only to provide an international, innovational and interactive exhibition environment, but also to emphasize brand image. Also, the event has chosen “black” as its thematic color to deliver a meaningful and fashionable message. The event will focus on three theme areas: College, Commerce and Interaction. The College area is curated by students from 71 universities and 68 related digital content departments. The Commerce area brings together major commercial brands such as Rayark Inc., Funique VR Studio, Oneday co. and Eslite bookstore, etc. The Interaction area is divided into two parts: Visual Design and Virtual Reality (VR). Visual Design will feature works from South Korea, Japan and China, while Virtual Reality (VR) will showcase all VR related outstanding works selected from years of cooperation between academia and industries held by VGW. Visitors will be able to gain unique interactive entertainment and gaming experience through “simulation” and “competition.”.

This year’s Visions Get Wild features digital designer experts from Taiwan, America, South Korea, Japan and Russia, etc. These experts will also be delivering speeches on design, gaming, animation, video post-production and VR/AR topics. For detailed schedules, please visit
