2017 World Metrology Day events in Taiwan

World Metrology Day is an international annual event that is celebrated by over 80 countries each year. As part of the World Metrology Day celebration, the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI) of Taiwan, R.O.C. is organizing a symposium with Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) on May 3, 2017.

The symposium on "International Trend of Metrology - Metrology for Industrial Innovation" will be held on May 3 in Taipei. The key speakers will include Dr. Barry Inglis, CIPM President, and other guest speakers. The topics of the symposium are as follows:
Revising the International System (SI) of Units

Impact of Metrology on Industry: NMIJ's Experience in Japan

Digitalization from a Metrological Point of View

X-ray Based Metrology for Nanostructure Characterization and Its Applications to Semiconductor Industry
