Epidemic prevention first! The Technology Industrial Parks call off employment recruitment activities.
COVID-19 is growing exponentially. The Export Processing Zone Administration (EPZA) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) took epidemic prevention first into consideration, cooperating with relevant new measures of the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC). All employment recruitment activities will be called off from today to June 8, including in Kaohsiung Cianjhen Technology Industrial Park (CTIP) on May 13, Taichung Port Technology Industrial Park (TPTIP) on May 18, Kaohsiung Nanzih Technology Industrial Park (NTIP) on May 28. However, the employment service centers provide non-stop services to assist people in job-seeking consultation.
According to EPZA, in response to the continued severity of COVID-19, the epidemic prevention measures in the parks have been upgraded. In addition to cooperating with the new measures of CECC, in principle, cancel outdoor activities of more than 500 people and indoor activities of more than 100 people, and continue keeping a record of people's contact information, sanitizing environments in the public places, facilities, and dormitories of EPZA's administration building, and prepare forehead thermometers, masks, rubbing alcohol, hand sanitizers.
In addition, EPZA actively promotes epidemic prevention information, provides manufacturers in the parks with epidemic intelligence and prevention information, and requires manufacturers to set up a management mechanism, strengthen calls for the implementation of personal hygiene, and wear masks. The EPZA emphasized that the wave of COVID-19 is coming so fiercely that we must take it seriously, implement relevant prevention for epidemic prevention, and cooperate with manufacturers and employees in the parks to go through this wave of epidemics.
