The closing ceremony for the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ Industrial Technical Instructor Training Program was held on Oct. 4, 2019.
A total of 10 participants from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Indonesia, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Poland, Slovakia, Vietnam and Cambodia took part in the two-month training program, which included courses on "smart machinery."
In his speech at the ceremony, Department of International Cooperation Economic Deputy Counselor Phillip J.P. Fan expressed the hope that each of the participants will be able to apply all they have learned in the program to promoting vocational skills in their home countries, as well as to helping build an even stronger partnership between Taiwan and their home nations. He also called for all the participants to encourage even more of their fellow compatriots to consider taking part in the program.
This marks the 16th year that the Ministry of Economic Affairs has sponsored and hosted the program, whose aim is to share Taiwan's experience in industrial development with other countries.
