On January 9, 2026, Minister of Economic Affairs Ming-Hsin Kung met with a Delegation of Members of the European Parliament led by the Chair of the European Taiwan Friendship Group Michael Gahler. They exchanged views on economic and industrial cooperation between EU and Taiwan.
