Subject:

CCC8708.99.90.10-0"Parts and accessories for other motor vehicles, be provided with AC motors, multi-phase, drive unit for motor vehicles with electric motors for the transport of ten or more persons, of an output exceeding 75KW but not exceeding 375 KW" and CCC8501.53.91.00-4EX"AC motors, multi-phase, for motor vehicles with electric motors (other than transport of ten or more persons) drive unit, of an output exceeding 75KW but not exceeding 375 KW" produced in mainland China shall cease to be approved for importation effective June 8, 2022.



Legal Basis:

1.Article 8.2 of the "Regulations Governing Permission of Trade between the Taiwan Area and the Mainland Area" and

2.Document No.1110014847 approved by the Executive Yuan on May 27, 2022.



Supplementary Information:

1.Importation of the above-mentioned items produced in mainland China is prohibited because they do not comply with the provisions of Article 8.1.2 of the "Regulations Governing Permission of Trade between the Taiwan Area and the Mainland Area".

2.Details of amendments to the import regulations and the names of mainland China products for importation that are conditionally permitted are attached.
