The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) has been commissioned by the BOFT to implement the Taiwan Industry Image Enhancement Project (IEP). It plans to cooperate with the Tokyo Metropolitan Television Broadcasting Corporation to produce special programs about Taiwan under the theme "Amazing Taiwan". They will introduce Taiwan's outstanding products and describe Taiwan’s industrial development to increase the awareness of the Japanese audience about Made in Taiwan (MIT).
