On Thursday, November 18, the 2nd Cares Taipei 2021 took place at the Taipei World Trade Center. Guided by the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT), the exhibition's theme was Building a Robust Care Industry Ecosystem and Opening Up New Opportunities for Aging in Place. It showcased intelligent sensors, positioning technology, physiological monitoring devices, service robots, and other technology solutions for caregiving.

Thanks to BOFT assistance, the three-day exhibition had 200 exhibitors, 300 booths, and more than 12 forums. Vice President Lai Ching-Te, Deputy Minister of Health and Welfare (MOHW) Jui-Yuan Hsueh, and other senior government officials attended the opening ceremony, thus expressing the government's view that the elderly care industry has much potential for growth. Enterprises are currently promoting their products and services in Taiwan, but they are hoping to bring them to the world soon.
