Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs Chern-Chyi “C.C.” Chen received Member of the European Parliament Anna Fotyga at the Ministry on Dec. 16, 2022. During their meeting, they discussed a range of topics, including Taiwan-EU bilateral economic, trade and industrial cooperation and exchanges, the impact of the conflict in Ukraine on Europe, relations between Europe and China, cross-strait economic and trade ties, Taiwan's New Southbound Policy, and signing a bilateral investment agreement between Taiwan and the EU.
