Industrial Technical Instructor Training Program

The ICD has held training programs for technical instructors from developing countries since 2004. The MOEA launched the Industrial Technical Instructor Training Program in 2004 to share Taiwan's successful experience in industrial development with other countries. This program enhances bilateral trade and helps participating countries to develop their industrial technology.

The Workforce Development Agency-TCN Regional Branch, Ministry of Labor has been commissioned by the MOEA to carry out this training program. The participants are selected by their countries' related agencies, and people who work in national vocational training agencies, industrial associations and have at least a junior college degree and good command of English will be qualified.

From 2004 to 2020, the MOEA has provided training for more than 378 participants from Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Jordan, Slovakia, Swaziland, El Salvador, Guatemala Paraguay, Nicaragua, South Africa and Panama, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, The Czech Republic, and Bulgaria, etc. The subjects covered by training classes included "Solar Power," "Smart Machinery," "Industrial Electronics and Information Management," "Integrate Machinery," "Jewelry Designing and Making," "Mechanical Drawing and Manufacturing," "Control Circuit Skill," "3D Mechanical Drawing," "Multimedia Integrated Application," "Furniture Design & Making," "Computer-aided Mold Design and Making," and "Telecom System and Mobile Phone Repair", etc.
