The Department of Industrial Technology (DolT) promotes the research and innovation of industrial technology in Taiwan. Through its Technology Development Programs (TDPs), DolT leverages the resources of research institutes, industry and academia; develops advanced technologies with potential industrial applications, fosters the development of emerging industries, and promotes industrial innovation and transformation.

1.TDP for Nonprofit Research Organization
Support more than 20 research organizations, including 7 major partner institutes, in developing key advanced industrial technologies and establishing industrial innovation corridors; improving the R&D environment and infrastructure; promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and facilitating R&D results for industrial applications.

2.TDP for Industry
Provide funding for enterprises to conduct R&D into innovative and advanced technologies; engage in activities from innovation to value creation; connect with R&D systems in multinational corporations; optimize Taiwan's industrial ecology and boost global competitiveness.

3.TDP for Academia
Bolster academia to promote and nurture new and innovative businesses with advanced technologies; transform promising R&D results into market opportunities, and enable spin-off startups to build emerging technology industry clusters.
