On May 12, the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) held a seminar on Measures to Upgrade and Transform Industries and SMEs at the International Convention Center Tainan (ICC Tainan). The Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) has launched six export-related measures based on the two core concepts of carbon reduction and smart transformation. SMEs were encouraged to leverage government resources for these 6 measures to strengthen their digital marketing capabilities and thus encompass more overseas buyers, as well as apply for subsidies to gradually develop environmentally-friendly product packaging. During this onsite event, consultation services were available to help SMEs determine appropriate solutions and explore more overseas markets.
