The Closing Ceremony for the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ Industrial Technical Instructor Training Program was held on Nov. 2, 2018.

A total of 14 participants from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Poland, Slovakia and Vietnam took part in the two-month training program, which included courses on “smart machinery” and “green energy.”

In his speech at the ceremony, Department of International Cooperation Deputy Director General Shih-Chou Huang expressed the hope that each of the participants will be able to apply all they have learned to promote vocational skills in their own countries, as well as help to build an even stronger friendship between Taiwan and their respective nations. He also called for all the participants to encourage even more of their fellow compatriots to consider taking part in the program.

This marks the 15th year that the Ministry of Economic Affairs has sponsored and hosted the program, whose aim is to share Taiwan's experience in industrial development with other countries.
