Intelligent International Pre-Certification Innovation Service (beCert) Presentation

The Ministry of Economic Affairs announced on March 11th at the Intelligent International Pre-Certification Innovation Service (beCert) Conference that AI and blockchain technology helped the leading domestic aquaculture producer, Kouhu Fisheries, obtain Taiwan's first BAP (Best Aquaculture Practices) Certification in February, making Taiwan the 40th country in the world to receive the certification.

BAP is recognized by large supermarket chains in Europe and America, such as Walmart and Costco, which allows Taiwan to enter the international fishery market supply chains, and the large chain stores and catering markets in the United States; the total export value is expected to increase by NT$ 240 million. In the future, this successful experience can also help other potential domestic enterprises quickly obtain international certifications.
