The invention relates to a Li-Al layered double hydroxide (LDH) porous structure formed on a crystallizer surface, its preparation, and applications. The method comprises preparing an alkaline Li-Al ion solution by mixing lithium hydroxide, aluminum foil, and pure water. A crystallizer is immersed in the solution, inducing in-situ growth of an LDH porous thin film. By adjusting crystallizer cleaning, solution pretreatment, and immersion conditions, film quality is enhanced. Subsequent high-temperature calcination converts the porous thin film into a lithium–aluminum oxide-based structure, providing improved material properties for industrial applications.
