Improving the investment environment

Promote plans to attract Taiwanese firms back to Taiwan

In response to the US-China trade conflict, we have supported the return of Taiwanese companies and assisted manufacturers as they invest in high-value-added areas in Taiwan.

1.Action Plan for Welcoming Overseas Taiwanese Businesses to Return to Invest in Taiwan: In an integrated manner, the Plan provides a customized service window and addresses areas such as land, water and electricity, manpower, taxation, and finance. The 3-year Plan was launched on January 1, 2019.

2.Single Window Investment Service: InvesTaiwan, set up by the MOEA, provides dedicated project-specific investment services. The Investment Advisory Line is 02-2311-2031.

3.Take stock of innovative business/investment opportunities and promote Taiwanese investment via the "5+2 Industrial Innovation Program."

4.Working through proactive industrial policies, attract Taiwanese businesses back to Taiwan. Organize Taiwanese investment delegations to promote investment in Taiwan.

5.Cooperate with influential groups in mainland China, such as Taiwanese business and industry associations, Work actively to spread the word that in this era of Sino-US trade conflict, Taiwan has new programs and an attract investment environment to offer.
