Subject: Article 7.1.13 "Other items permitted through special approval by the competent authority" of the Regulations Governing Permission of Trade between the Taiwan Area and the Mainland Area



Legal Basis: Article 7.2 of the Regulations Governing Permission of Trade between the Taiwan Area and the Mainland Area



1.CCC8708.99.90.10-0 "Parts and accessories for other motor vehicles, be provided with AC motors, multi-phase, drive unit for motor vehicles with electric motors for the transport of ten or more persons, with an output exceeding 75KW but not exceeding 375 KW" and CCC8501.53.91.00-4EX"AC motors, multi-phase, for motor vehicles with electric motors drive unit (other than transport of ten or more persons), with an output exceeding 75KW but not exceeding 375 KW" produced in mainland China, have ceased to be approved for importation as announced in Document No.: Jin Mao 11104602410 of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, effective June 8, 2022.

2.If importers of the above-mentioned goods have fulfilled one of the following conditions on or before June 8, 2022: 1) have been issued a letter of credit, 2) have remitted payment, 3) have shipped out goods from mainland China, 4) have established a transaction behavior, have adopted the payment term of cash on delivery, and have records of the aforementioned payment transactions between June 8, 2021 to June 7, 2022, the importers, with supporting documents, may apply for approval on or before September 8, 2022. Approval is valid until September 8, 2022. After obtaining import approval, importers shall apply for an import license and complete import declaration on or before September 8, 2022.
