On Wednesday, July 29, 2026, Deputy Minister Cynthia Kiang of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) met with Belize's Minister of State, Ministry of Economic Transformation Dr. Osmond Martinez. They exchanged views on economic and trade cooperation between Taiwan and Belize, as well as transformation of the sugar industry.
