Traditional alcohol packets contained silica powder absorbed with ethanol, but their antibacterial effect is often compromised due to alcohol evaporation after opening or during vacuum packaging. Powdered alcohol packets also pose safety risks, such as leakage if punctured, potentially leading to accidental ingestion. Furthermore, improper use can interfere with the flavor of food products.
