The Export Processing Zone Administration cooperates with the Pingtung, Neipu, and Pingnan Industrial Parks to create the empirical exchange.
To accelerate industrial innovation and transformation, and spread and co-create empirical demonstration cases, the Export Processing Zone Administration (EPZA) cooperated with the Institute for Information Industry (III) to hold the "Digital Innovation Accelerator Transforming the Future" industrial transformation co-creation demonstration exchange conference in Pingtung Export Processing Zone Administration (PEPZA) on July 21, 2023. The conference integrates resources from industry, academia, and research and conducts exchanges on topics such as digital transformation trend application, digital transformation co-creation demonstration cases sharing, and industry counseling resources.
The conference specially invited Fluxtek International Corp. and Chi Mei Frozen Food Co., Ltd. to share the benefits brought to the company by co-creating demonstrations of digital transformation. First of all, Fluxtek International Corp. shared the advanced intelligent management of the equipment manufacturing industry. The precise research and development of filters and the smart management information system that the company cooperated with RF-Design have achieved diffusion effects. The output value is expected to increase by 4 million a year, and the working hours will be reduced by about 30 hours a month. Next, Chi Mei Frozen Food Co., Ltd. shared the integrated application of RFID technology in the production line section system in cooperation with Dynamic Computing Technology Co., Ltd. to improve the real-time discovery of process problems, reducing 9 to 11% of the daily process loss, and digitally technology transfer the master's techniques to inherit and retain the SOP. This case provides food processing industries to think and apply for optimizing the production line.
EPZA indicated that the digital transformation demonstration courses mainly promote and construct a digital transformation co-creation growth mechanism, cultivate mid-level and advanced digital transformation talents for southern enterprises, link the double-track cultivation of manufacturing and information service industry supply and demand side, and assist enterprises to act for itself digital transformation through localized value co-creation. In the past two years, eleven demonstration cases of industrial transformation in the south have been derived, driving more than NTD800 million in the derivative output value of related services. This year, the cases will be spread to all levels of industrial regions in the south, strengthening the connection of cross-domain resources, and value-added application demonstrations. It is expected to build the digital transformation ecosystem together and shape the digital transformation settlement of the Great South.
