The Kaohsiung-Pingtung Branch of the Bureau of Industrial Parks of the Ministry of Economic Affairs held the "Kaohsiung Cianjen and Linguan Technology Industrial Park HR Managers' Gathering." On February 23, 2024. Over 30 companies in the parks participated, exchanging and sharing HR experiences, assisting HR managers in expanding their networks, establishing an information exchange platform, and advancing strong friendships.
Recently, there has been a surge in investment in the Kaohsiung area by the technology industry, resulting in a huge demand for talent acquisition. The competitiveness of enterprises lies in the recruitment and cultivation of key talents. Therefore, BIP specially invited instructor Li Kui-Lin, chief data officer from 104 HR Bank, to share a lecture on "The Application of AI in Human Resources," as well as presentations from Metal Industries Research & Development Center, National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, and Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology on counseling resources and sharing experiences in industry-specific talent development programs, encouraging companies to consolidate talent demands and jointly establish talent development programs. Understanding talent dynamics and employee needs is essential for continually optimizing a company's friendly workplace environment to retain talents.
Chang Chin-Hao, Executive Secretary of the Taiwan Technology Industrial Park Electrical and Electronic Manufacturer's Association of Taiwan Technology Industrial Parks, expressed that with a forward-looking and innovative connection across diverse industries, three major committees have been established within the jurisdiction of the park, including Human Resources Industry Cooperation, Research and Development Innovation, and Factory Environmental Safety Committees. In response to the issue of labor requirements and talent development, a Human Resources Industry Cooperation Committee has been specially established, with Chairmen Chen Tsai-Hsing from LASER TEK TAIWAN Co., Ltd. serving as the convener. It is hoped that a diversified cooperation model between industry, government, academia, and research will be established in the future to form a positive cycle and sustainable momentum for the industry.
Yiu, Shu-Hui, Director of the Kaohsiung-Pingtung Branch, stated that in recent years, Cianjeng Technology Industrial Park has seen successful investment promotion, with companies thriving, expanding factories, and increasing production. There is an urgent need for mid-level engineering talents and gross-root technical manpower. Only by improving the quality of industrial talents could we look to the future; only with sufficient talents could we generate the momentum to develop industries. The Kaohsiung-Pingtung Branch invited local enterprises to make good use of government resources to create a high-quality talent cultivation environment, collaborate with academia and the branch to sole recruitment and talent cultivation issues, and continue to innovate and progress in the technology industrial park, ensuring that every company is a happiest employee's enterprise, jointly creating a happiness park.
The Kaohsiung-Pingtung Branch of the Bureau of Industrial Parks will continue to promote the intelligent upgrading and transformation of the industrial cluster in the park, assist local companies in seeking policy subsidies, promote digital training and industrial upgrading, drive regional development, enhance the competitiveness of enterprises, and thereby increase the operational performance of the park.
