The Taisugar Corporation operates its hotel business based on the environmental and sustainable development strategy. This March, the Taisugar Hotel Taipei and the Taisugar Hotel Hualien have been certified as "Bronze Level Green Mark Hotel," which is a new milestone for Taisugar to achieve green travel. Taisugar said Taisugar Hotel Taipei, located in the Ximending Shopping District and Taisugar Hotel Hualien, located in the Hualien Tourism Sugar Factory, have actively promoted green procurement, green marketing and implemented pollution prevention measures including energy conservation, water conservation and reduction of waste gas and wastewater discharge, as well as promoted the reduction of the use of disposable supplies. All measures have met the standards of the Green Mark Hotel, thus these two hotels were certified as Bronze Level Green Mark Hotel on March 11 and 22 of this year. As a result, Taisugar now has four hotels that provide environmental and sustainable services.

In order to achieve sustainable travel, green tour and net-zero carbon emissions, Taisugar has continued to promote green, low-carbon and eco-friendly travel styles. Previously, Liuying Jianshanpi Resort and Evergreen Plaza Hotel (Tainan) had already received the Green Mark certification last year. This year, the Taisugar Hotel Taipei and the Taisugar Hotel Hualien have succeeded in obtaining the certification. The Chinshang Pastoral Farm Resort in Taitung has also begun the process for the same certification.
