Ministry of Economic Affairs gathers 21 domestic startup teams to organize the TREE (The Taiwan Research-Institute Entrepreneur Ecosystem Program) Pavilion at Asia's largest startups exhibition, InnoVEX, from May 30 to June 2,  showcasing the achievements of selected thick innovation teams under research institutes like ITRI, III, and Develop Center of Biotechnology, and from universities like Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan Ocean University, and University of Taiwan, in the Technology Development Program for Academia. Startups incubated by the research institutes under Ministry of Economic Affairs have achieved outstanding results over the past two years, raising over NTD 3 billion of funds from major domestic and international enterprises; moreover, half of the six Taiwanese teams in the ten InnoVEX 2023 Pitch Contest finalists come from the TREE Pavilion. On the international stage, two startup teams have been selected to the Top 10 at the SelectUSA Investment Summit, achieving excellent results.
